describe
Mullite bricks are high alumina refractory materials with mullite as the main crystal phase. Generally, the alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, those with lower alumina content also contain a small amount of glass phase and quartz; Those with higher alumina content also contain a small amount of corundum. There are generally two types of mullite bricks: sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks. Mullite lightweight bricks belong to sintered bricks.
Mullite lightweight brick, also known as lightweight mullite brick, is made by sintering mullite as the main raw material and lightweight aggregate balls. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance to various atmospheres, low thermal conductivity, low heat melting, high strength, and good thermal shock resistance. The operating temperature can reach 1350 ℃~1700 ℃, and it can directly come into contact with flames.
Mainly used for lining ceramic roller kilns, shuttle kilns, cracking furnaces, hot air furnaces, and various electric furnaces, as well as furnace door bricks, kiln car bricks, etc.
Characteristics of mullite lightweight insulation brick:
Low thermal conductivity: It has good insulation effect and can make the thickness of the furnace wall thinner.
Low heat capacity: Due to its lightweight and low thermal conductivity, the lightweight mullite brick series products accumulate very little heat energy, and the energy-saving effect is significant in intermittent operation kilns.
◎ Low impurity content: It has a very low melting point of iron and alkali metals, resulting in high refractoriness. The higher aluminum content allows it to maintain good performance even in a reducing atmosphere.
◎ High thermal compressive strength.
◎ External dimensions: Accelerate masonry speed, with thin and uniform brick joints. Ensure high strength and stability of the masonry structure.
Can be processed into special shapes to reduce the number of blocks and joints.
The T3 size of the mullite lightweight insulation brick standard brick is 230 * 114 * 65mm.
Customized processing of special-shaped mullite lightweight insulation bricks can be done according to the provided drawings.
